We love helping people do more good. Here are some of our latest projects.
With several new and exciting developments ahead, and substantial growth on the horizon, Cultivate Christchurch needed to create a solid foundation for their marketing and communications activity. We supported the team to develop a low-cost strategy to engage current stakeholders and customers, and reach out to new markets as they expand.
As huge fans of Harold the giraffe and his important work with schoolchildren, we jumped at the chance to support Life Education Trust Canterbury to raise awareness during their 30th anniversary celebrations.
We worked with Tim Jones from Grow Good to craft core marketing messaging that defined the almost-intangible concept of ‘purpose’.
We worked with Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust to develop a communications strategy that would enable the team to build relationships with exisiting stakeholders, develop new connections and generate funding through low-cost channels that could be largely managed in-house.
We were given the opportunity to help shape Bloomfields Preschool’s brand identity through developing a tone of voice and messaging for their new website. The unique childcare centre will offer early childhood education in a rural setting, with a big focus on exploring the outdoors and sustainability.
We were delighted to work with Hitesh Sharma from Revel Events on the structure and content for his team’s brand new website. The result is a colourful website that showcases the range of vibrant events that Revel Events brings to life for our community.
The Holi Festival of Colours is Christchurch’s most-colourful cultural event. The Word Lab was excited to support the organisers with their event communications and media relations in 2018. With more than 10,000 attendees, TV, radio, online and press coverage - Holi 2018 was a huge success.
Barrier Free NZ Trust and Earthquake Disability Leadership Group (EDLG) approached The Word Lab to support the launch of the Accessibility Charter in Canterbury. We worked with BMD Creative to successfully develop branding, a website and collateral for the launch event in just four weeks. We also wrote and pitched stories to local and national media.

Partners Anna, Andrew and Roger wanted simple content that would really connect with potential clients and reflect the team's friendly, down-to-earth and community-focused approach.
The Word Lab is proud to be one of the partners behind the successful 2017 Rangiora Winter Festival. Our Lead Consultant Hannah volunteered as part of the organising committee, providing communications and marketing consultation and support.
North Canterbury Business Services came to The Word Lab because their website and marketing collateral didn't clearly communicate the services they offer and how they benefit their clients. We supported the team to develop clear key messages that would help them connect with potential clients.
Recreate approached The Word Lab to improve their client communications and online content, plus market their new fitness challenge products. Together, we have successfully implemented a regular programme of client communications - we call it client love.
